We invite you to the 9th International Symposium on Breastfeeding and Lactation titled “Breastfeeding: A Key to Sustainable Development,” which will take place on October 7 and 8, 2016 at the Cultural Center Laško.

At the symposium, experiences and new insights in the field of breastfeeding and lactation will be actively exchanged in the company of Slovenian and international speakers. A rich program has been prepared, which will highlight, among other things, the importance of breastfeeding in intensive care units, the introduction of complementary feeding, the role of society in breastfeeding, and many other interesting topics. The symposium is intended for professionals of various profiles who work with mothers in the perinatal period, especially healthcare workers.

Participation in the professional meeting provides CERP points as well as licensing points for doctors (Medical Chamber) and nurses (Chamber of Nursing and Midwifery of Slovenia).
