Pregnancy is a time of major emotional and physical changes, and it’s important that it’s as pleasant and easy as possible. There’s a lot we can do ourselves to feel more comfortable during pregnancy, and in doing so we also prepare for and influence birth in an important way.
During pregnancy, it’s especially important to pay attention not only to what we eat and drink, but also to avoid stress and possible injuries. Let’s be mindful of everyday activities such as walking, sitting, resting, going to the toilet, and more. Why? This helps us balance our body, make space for our baby, and significantly influence our comfort, our baby’s position, and consequently the birth.
The online talk covers:
- the importance of physical activity during pregnancy
- tips for everyday activities that bring comfort during pregnancy and prepare you for an easier birth
- exercises to increase flexibility, improve mobility, and support pelvic stability, helping your baby settle more easily into an optimal position for birth
- relaxation you can play every day
- the basics of ergonomics related to everyday activities and exercises
- Belly mapping, so you can find out where and how your baby is lying
Regular, gentle movement, presented in video content, can ease pain, improve digestion and sleep, and boost your energy. You know the saying: “Better late than never.” and “Better once than not at all”? Still, try to do the exercises gradually every day and let them become your routine.
The advantage of the online talk is that you can choose when, where, and how much content you want to watch. I recommend this online talk from the second trimester onwards.
*access to the content is available for 14 weeks.
