Home birth with a chosen midwife is also becoming an increasingly common choice for birth location here. Not every woman is suitable for home birth, nor is every woman prepared. However, those who have this option should rightly have the choice.
The topic of home birth is also being addressed this year by the “Student Midwifery Forum“, which will take place on May 31, 2016, at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Ljubljana from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

A few days later, the two-day 17th Novak Days will follow, which will also touch upon home birth this year, but greater attention will be paid to cesarean section and explanations, duties, and legal problems in perinatology and neonatology.

On Saturday at 2:00 PM, there will be a lecture open to the public – Frank A. Chervenak: Planned home birth.
