The Croatian Association for the Promotion of Midwifery is organizing the ANNIVERSARY 40th SYMPOSIUM under the motto “Midwifery – an ancient art in the modern world”.
Check out the diverse program and definitely attend the symposium! I’m very happy that Croatia is developing and fighting for this beautiful ancient wisdom, which has lost some of its power with technology. But we won’t give up, will we? 🙂
ANNIVERSARY 40th SYMPOSIUM OF THE CROATIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF MIDWIFERY
SYMPOSIUM PROGRAM
“Midwifery – an ancient skill in the modern world”
Under the patronage of the Croatian Chamber of Midwives
Location and date:
Hotel Adriatic, Opatija
28. October 28-29, 2016
It is our exceptional joy and honor to hold this year’s anniversary, fortieth Symposium of the Croatian Association for the Promotion of Midwifery. Through decades of existence, the midwives who contributed to midwifery through their work have changed, practices have changed, and the Association’s name has changed. However, one thing has always remained the same – the will and desire for growth, improvement, and new insights in midwifery. Since “XL” is a particularly important number for us, as it represents the number of weeks of pregnancy, we want to believe that we are “ready to give birth,” ready to provide the highest quality midwifery care by highly educated midwives in Croatia, ready to achieve the goal we have been working toward all these years: let’s give women back their midwives, and give midwives back physiological birth!
In accordance with the importance of this Symposium, we have prepared quality workshops the day before the Symposium, with topics that are necessary and useful in everyday practice, which will provide you with competence and professional satisfaction.
The Symposium program is rich with current topics from guest speakers that you will surely enjoy and expand your knowledge, hear familiar or new scientific insights.
What makes us all happiest is gathering together and connecting as midwives, so we hope that our gathering will be fruitful, successful, and full of love for our most beautiful profession in the world.
See you in beautiful Opatija!
