Basic Modular Course and Workshop – Promoting and Maintaining Breastfeeding
15 – 17 6. 2017, Maribor
The UNICEF Slovenia National Committee for the Promotion of Breastfeeding and the Ministry of Health are organizing a UNICEF and WHO basic modular course and workshop on breastfeeding and lactation, to which healthcare professionals and other interested individuals are invited.
The course will take place at UKC Maribor, Ljubljanska ulica 5, 2000 Maribor from Thursday, June 15, 2017, to Saturday, June 17, 2017.
By co-financing the course, the Ministry of Health has enabled a 50% lower registration fee, with the aim of making the course accessible to all of you. The registration fee is therefore 90 EUR (including VAT) and includes participation in lectures, workshops, and practical exercises, refreshments during breaks, and lunch.
What do participants gain?
Participants will attend theoretical lectures and practical exercises, and will receive a collection of lectures that will serve as a manual for working with breastfeeding (and non-breastfeeding) mothers and infants. The program will also offer the opportunity for active participation in discussions, exchange of experiences, and learning about different working methods in other maternity hospitals, healthcare organizations, and in the field.
Participants also receive licensed points.
